CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Entry is free.

2. Individual nominees must be a resident of NSW for a minimum of 2 years and working/volunteering in the NSW social service sector.

3. Organisation nominees must be operating in the NSW social service sector for the benefit of NSW people and communities.

4. Nominations open 13 August 2025 and close Wednesday 10 September 2025, (11.59pm AEST).

5. All criteria should be addressed in your online nomination form and 750-word core submission document, which addresses the category selection criteria. Supporting documents (written testimonials, articles), photos and videos should be attached to your online nomination if relevant.

• Save all files using the following naming format: YYYYMMDD, name of nominated organisation or individual, category nominating in. EG. 20250828_ABC_Category 3 Frontline Worker)

6. You can choose to submit additional documentation that supports your nomination. This may include:

• Other photo images: max 2 images. Required format: .jpg, .bmp (max file size for all documents: 10MB; min resolution for images: 300dpi)

• Written testimonials/articles: max 2 testimonials or articles. Required format: .pdf

• Videos: Required format: .wmv, .mov (upload to a public or unlisted YouTube link and insert the link into your core submission document; include access password if protected)

7. All nomination information, photos and supporting material submitted remains the property of NCOSS and may be used and distributed by NCOSS for media and promotional purposes.

8. Nominees agree to participate in media interviews and photo opportunities and approve the use of their story or any photographs submitted or taken at the Awards ceremony, to be used in media and publicity materials. They acknowledge that it is their responsibility to contact NCOSS in writing should they wish to withdraw this permission.  If nominating someone else it is the nominators responsibly to ensure that the nominee is aware and agrees to this requirement.

9. Finalists should be available and make best efforts to attend the Awards presentation ceremony on Tuesday 28 October 2025 in Sydney. (Inability to attend does not disqualify entry)

10. Each nominee can enter one category only.

11. Nominators will receive a confirmation email once their nomination has been received.

12. NCOSS reserves the right to disqualify any nomination that is incomplete, ineligible, or contains false or misleading information.

13. NCOSS reserves the right to amend these Conditions of Entry, including changes to the Awards categories, judging panel, event format, date or location of the Awards ceremony, at any time and without prior notice. Any significant changes will be communicated via the NCOSS website or directly to affected nominees.

14. The decisions of the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

JUDGING

1. Finalists are selected for each category award with award recipients selected from this finalist pool.

2. The decisions of the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

3. The judging panel will include members of the NCOSS Board and Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP).
