Supporting vulnerable children to be a healthy weight is an issue of significant concern for our sector judging by the attendance at a forum last Wednesday hosted by NCOSS, in partnership with Uniting and Cancer Council NSW.

The forum canvassed key population-level policy responses that are making a difference in other jurisdictions – such as a sugar tax and tighter restrictions on junk food marketing, and show-cased practical responses that could support our clients and communities to be a healthier weight. We'll make the slides from the day available here shortly. If you’d like to know more about our work on this issue, please email rhiannon@ncoss.org.au
