AICD's governance reform agenda for 2017
The Australian Institute of Company Directors has released the second edition of their national reform agenda Governance of the Nation: A Blueprint for Growth 2017. In support of the non-profit sector, its 6th recommendation relates to not-for-profits and calls for:
- Improving the funding environment for NFPs with a shift to five-year funding cycles, with 12 month notice periods
- Develop a fit-for-purpose regulatory regime with national consistency and less red tape.
