New Management Members

We are seeking interest from likeminded people who would like to make a contribution to this Centre by joining our management committee. This would involve attended regular meetings, being an active committee member, and supporting decision making and problem solving regarding the governance of West Street.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have one or more of the following interests or skills sets:

• Human Resource Management
• Financial management
• Clinical or therapeutic skills or experience
• Leadership, management, governance skills or experience
• Legal skills and experience with a focus on social Justice issues
• Information Technology
• If you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islanders
• If you have experience working in the Housing Sector
• If you identify as having lived experience of mental health or trauma

Wollongong West Street Centre

The Wollongong West Street Centre is a small incorporated not for profit counselling service for women, children and young people who have experienced Childhood Sexual Assault. We also provide a community space for women affected by sexual violence. We come from a social justice and feminist orientation in service delivery to the most vulnerable in our community.
