Assistant Manager (1 x FTE)
WHOS is establishing residential and non-residential services operating from Goulburn. We are expecting to commence setting up the service in January 2021 on receipt of premises.
The advertised position, based in Goulburn, will provide an opportunity to coordinate WHOS services in the Southern NSW region. The role requires a motivated and committed individual to provide effective leadership, coordination, negotiation, networking, communication and teamworking.
Applicants will need to demonstrate experience in:
- the coordination of services that provide residential treatment, case management, group-based programs, day programs, aftercare and transitional care.
- leading services with clients that have substance dependence and associated issues
- information management systems including electronic client file and data management systems
- sound administration and written communication skills and the ability write internal reports and reports focusing on KPIs required by funding bodies
Remuneration:
- Negotiated based on qualifications and experience

Essential Criteria
- AOD or health or human service qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of AOD Harm Reduction approach
- Extensive experience working in AOD, mental health or related field
- Experience coordinating service delivery and teams, in residential and day program settings
- Networking experience
- Efficient time management skills
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Sound computer literacy required for the job
- NSW driver's license and satisfactory driver declarati
