Changes to associations incorporations laws from 1 September 2016

The review of the Associations Incorporations Act and Regulations has been completed and the changes apply from 1 September 2016.  They include an additional three matters that all constitutions  are required to address.   The 

Model Constitution (Schedule 1 of the Regulation), which many incorporated associations have adopted as their constitution,  does address these matters.  Incorporated associations need to be aware that under the Act changes to the Model Constitution will apply to their organisation from 1 September.
