Primary Health Networks are tasked with improving our primary health system, particularly for those at risk of poor health outcomes.

We know NCOSS members want to make sure the health system works as well as possible for their clients and constituents. Current information about the work of the Primary Health Networks (PHNs) – including opportunities to engage with your local network – will be provided on this page.

South Eastern NSW: Co-design workshops for mental health and suicide prevention

South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network (PHN) invites you to participate in one of our co-design workshops for mental health and suicide prevention in our region. This will be an opportunity for you, as a service provider, consumer or carer, to contribute to COORDINARE’s understanding of local health needs and priorities for the region, and to co-design general practice, community and systems solutions which contribute to the Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Strategy. You’ll also have the chance to provide input into the direction of mental health and suicide prevention solutions, and associated South Eastern NSW PHN funding.

The workshops will be held on:

RSVP by Friday 9 September 2016 by emailing Louise on lroser@coordinare.org.au or by calling 4474 8410.

Needs Assessments

Following their establishment in July 2015, each Primary Health Network was required to conduct a needs assessment to help identify and prioritise opportunities for activity as part of the first phase of the commissioning process. The needs assessments were conducted in line with guidance from the Department of Health, and are now being published on the PHN websites. Links to published needs assessments developed are below:
