Facilitated by NCOSS CEO Joanna Quilty, this year's Post-Budget virtual event took place on Thursday, 26 November 2020. It was an opportunity to pose questions to our political leaders about the economic and fiscal outlook for NSW and how the 2020-21 Budget impacts the community services sector and the people it supports.

We were pleased to be joined by:

  • NSW Treasurer, The Hon. Dominic Perrottet, MP - who gave an overview of the Budget - highlighting key budget priorities and the challenges ahead.
  • Shadow Treasurer, The Hon Walter Secord, MLC - with the Opposition's response to the Budget.
  • Lead Economist with Equity Economics, Angela Jackson - sharing an economist's perspective.
  • Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services, The Hon Gareth Ward - joined our panel discussion together with the Shadow Treasurer and Angela Jackson.
