Tenancy Manager

We are now recruiting for a Tenancy Manager on a full time basis until 31 December 2019. This role will be based at Hurstville but there is a requirement to work from our other offices from time to time. This role is classified as Level 4 on the SCHCADS Award and reports to the Team Leader.

This particular Tenancy Manager role will be a combination of tenancy management and administration support for the tenancy team. It presents a great opportunity for someone who wants to get an idea of what tenancy management is about, with a reduced portfolio.

As a SGCH Tenancy Manager you place tenant needs at the heart of our service delivery. You are customer service focused and responsive to tenant requests – working to address day to day tenancy matters as quickly as possible and more broadly supporting tenants to link to services they need to improve their health and wellbeing, and sustain their tenancy. You also support the wider tenancy team by assisting with tasks such as entering and ending tenancies in OH, taking minutes at TMs fortnightly high risk meeting, tracking of tenant charges and also assisting with general tenancy enquiries across all portfolios.

Position details
Essential Selection Criteria:

The essential experience requirements for this role include:

  • Current NSW driving license
  • Knowledge and understanding of NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010
  • Understanding of support service system
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Strong administration skills
