The Operations Manager is a newly created position to support Weave’s recent and rapid growth. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of all aspects of the operations of Weave across all sites.

The Operations Manager continuously looks to improve existing ways of working including processes, policies, and procedures, and designs and implements efficiencies. This is a key management role in the organisation that will contribute to the overall business strategy, continuous quality improvement and sustainability of Weave, and will provide leadership and guidance to employees.

2. Highly developed information management and administration skills

3. Strong numeracy skills and commercial acumen

4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

5.Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills

6. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

7. Ability to work as a team member and with a high degree of autonomy

8. Strong computer and IT literacy skills

9. Common sense and an excellent sense of humour

10. Demonstrated strong problem solving skills and ability to come up with creative solutions

11. Understanding of challenges facing Aboriginal young people, families and

communities

12. Previous experience in leadership demonstrating creativity, adaptability, energy, enthusiasm and the desire to grow

Qualifications, experience and mandatory requirements

13. Relevant tertiary qualification/s

14. Experience designing and operating within an outcomes framework to demonstrate impact

15. Demonstrated experience in operations management and administration

16. Strong information management and change management experience

17. Previous experience in providing inspirational leadership for a large team and/or organisation

18. NSW Working with Children Check

19. Driver’s License
