Reporting to the Director Programs and Development and working closely with the Training and Education Coordinator the Programs Coordination and Capacity Building Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Alliance’s LGBTI health and wellbeing programs including, but not limited to, mental health and suicide prevention initiatives and ageing and aged care. The role is also responsible for the development of programs across the spectrum of LGBTI health and wellbeing.

 

Salary: SCHADS 6 $86,939.80 - $90,754.46 plus salary packaging

The Alliance works in partnership with organisations across Australia to deliver three program areas; national suicide prevention (MindOUT), ageing and aged care (Sliver Rainbow) and anonymous, LGBTI peer support and referral (QLife).

Position details
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications with relevant experience in relation to mental health and wellbeing, education, social science or other relevant fields.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Essential Selection Criteria:
  • Good knowledge of LGBTI mental health and suicide prevention research, best practice and related sectors.
  • Highly developed time management skills and ability to work with competing demands
