Legislative Council Committees, Department of the Legislative Council

The Legislative Council is the Upper House of the NSW Parliament. It is a House of Review, and acts as a check and balance on the Executive Government. The Department of the Legislative Council supports the activities of the Upper House, including its sittings and committee inquiries. The two principal areas of the Department are the Procedure Office and the Committee Office.
