Peppercorn Services is looking for a motivated Service Development Partner to join our well respected organisation.

About the Role

Working collaboratively as part of the senior leadership team, the Service Development Partner will lead the aged care and disability division within Peppercorn. This role will drive growth and shape the service offering in line with Peppercorn's mission and strategic objectives.

The key business functions reporting to this role include: Social Support, Meals, Dietetics, Transport and Intake. In addition, this role will be responsible for driving Peppercorn's preparations in becoming a provider of services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

You will be required to:

  • Maintain respectful, equitable and inclusive programs across the business stream of responsibility;
  • Initiate a growth strategy that supports Peppercorn's purpose and addresses the identified needs of the community;
  • Organise and deliver compliant programs in accordance with best practice guidelines, that are aligned with Peppercorn strategic objectives and values to achieve successful community and client outcomes;
  • Ensure that services are of a high quality, financially viable and responsive to the changing needs of the community;
  • Maintain an understanding of sector issues, reforms, industry networking and partnerships and act on these accordingly.

Essential Criteria

The successful applicants will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experience in Community Services/ Aged Care/ Disability;
  • Understanding of current reforms in community aged care;
  • Understanding of NDIS registration and experience in developing business streams under the scheme;
  • Strong leadership and change management experience;
  • Experience in managing program budgets and financial operations;
  • High level of knowledge of policies, procedures and standards pertaining to the provision of human services;
  • Experience in the use of computer-based Client Information Systems to understand the needs of the services and its operations;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
