Reporting to the Management Committee, the primary purpose of the role is to ensure the successful development and delivery of services to families in the Orange, Blayney and Cabonne Local Government Areas accessing Orange Family Support Service.

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

  • High level communication skills with an ability to communicate with people from a diversity of backgrounds;
  • An ability to communicate in a non-judgemental and empathic manner;
  • A strong commitment to confidentiality;
  • High level problem solving skills;
  • High level team leadership skills;
  • A current knowledge of the community services sector and an ability to establish and maintain excellent professional relationships;
  • Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in community welfare, social or behavioural sciences, allied health, community management or related disciplines;
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence;
  • A current NSW Child Protection Working with Children Clearance.; and
  • An ability to maintain a satisfactory Criminal Records Check

Weekly hours: Minimum of 24 hours with potential to extend to 32 Hours per week.

Hourly rate: $41.89 - $43.79 (plus allowances, salary packaging and superannuation)
