The Gender Centre is seeking applications from a committed and dynamic Social Worker to join our team.

We require an experienced Mental Health Social Worker who is accredited and registered with the Australian Associations of Social Workers with at least 2 years’ experience, to become part of our parents and young people’s team. We are looking for someone to provide early interventions and wrap around mental health services to parents/carers and young people requiring our support.

The family & youth mental health social worker is responsible for delivering assistance and care coordination to individual family members helping them navigate a range of social services-from education to healthcare as well as supporting families and youth experiencing complex issues through assertive outreach, case management and group work which underpins this model of service.
