Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to clients of Foundation House and to assist in the operations of the residential program.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications (Minimum Cert 4 AOD or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid Certificate

Essential Criteria

  • Understanding of residential rehab settings
  • Minimum 12 Months professional experience in Drug & Alcohol Sector
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 12 step programs, preferably in a residential setting
  • Demonstrated understanding of the major issues facing clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds

Desirable Criteria

  • Sound communication skills and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and administration skills

 

Other Information

  • Flexible shift work hours (including weekends and/or overnight)
  • Current LR drivers license or willingness to get one
  • Salary is based on SCHADS award
  • NFP/FBT available ($15,900 tax free)
  • EAP - independent counselling service
