WHOS offers a range of evidence based therapeutic AOD residential and day programs. WHOS services are based in NSW and QLD. Further information can be accessed at - www.whos.com.au WHOS Southern NSW Region based in Goulburn seeks a Community Services Worker to provide services to people with AOD use disorders and other co-occurring conditions, within the context of a residential therapeutic community and a day program therapeutic community.
APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO THE SELECTION CRITERIA BELOW
Essential Criteria:
- Qualification in AOD / Mental Health / Community Services or allied field
- Experience working with, clients that have AOD use disorders and associated issues
- Knowledge of AOD treatment sector
- Group work skills
- Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current drivers’ licence
- Computer literacy, including the use of electronic client information systems
- Commitment to working as part of a team
Desirable Criteria:
- Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
- Understanding of the Therapeutic Community model
Remuneration:
- Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award
- Salary packaging available
