About the role

The Lead Intake and Brief Intervention Therapist is a new and exciting role for CatholicCare.

At a time when we are expanding our services, this role is critical to the effective running of the organisation and ensuring clients have access to the services that can best support them.

As a key member of an engaged and dynamic Client Care Team, this role is one of the first contacts a client has with the organisation and along with making clients and their families feel welcome and supported you will:

  • complete comprehensive screening assessments of clients
  • conduct brief intake assessments, coordinate
  • support referrals and providing a range of evidence-based treatment interventions.

About you

You will be a registered Psychologist or Social Worker with several years experience.
As an experienced social worker or psychologist, you’ll have a genuine desire to work closely with clients and families to connect them with the support they need now and into the future.

Working with people from all walks of life and in difficult circumstances comes easily to you and you genuinely want to see people succeed. You are naturally someone who lifts others and empowers them to tackle whatever they are facing with kindness and compassion.

You have the drive to take on a new role in a dynamic setting, and face challenges with confidence and professionalism.

And your values align with ours.

If you have all of this, along with the right experience and qualifications, and the opportunity feels like the perfect fit for you, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you!
