Youth Engagement Officer
Blacktown Area Community Centres Inc. (BACC) is seeking a Youth Engagement Officer to develop and deliver a range of community programs for youth. Applicants must be skilled and experienced in community consultation, service planning and delivery and partnership development with other human services agencies.

Qualifications
Minimum Cert IV in Youth Work / Community Services (or a related field)
Essential Criteria
Ability to engage young people, build rapport, and connect young people with appropriate supports and services with an understanding of the needs of young people in the Blacktown Local Government Area. Work effectively and positively within the youth team and the wider BACC team, with the ability to work autonomously Build networks and relationships with other services, businesses, and the wider community. Identify, develop, and deliver programs that meet the needs of young people as they emerge. Adhere to all reporting and accountability documentation required by BACC and funding bodies Comply with BACC WHS policies and procedures and relevant legislative requirements ESSENTIAL: Minimum Cert IV in Youth Work / Community Services (or a related field) Current Working with Children Check Previous experience in working with at risk Young People Strong communication skills (verbal and written) First Aid Certificate (or capacity and willingness to acquire one). Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Current C Class driver’s license and comprehensively insured vehicle available for use during working hours. Are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Desirable Criteria
Familiarity with the Blacktown local government area.
