AOD Community Service Worker – Gunyah Lilyfield NSW

WHOS Gunyah is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person for a fulltime AOD Community Service Worker role in our Men’s Program, Gunyah, based at Lilyfield NSW.

Through this role you will be able to provide:

a) assessment, referral, and education,

b) supervising and supporting clients in a residential setting,

c) a structured daily program,

d) therapeutic interventions

TO BE CONSIDERED APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO THE SELECTION CRITERIA BELOW

1. Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or related field.
2. Ability to work with clients that have AOD and associated conditions.
3. Knowledge of the AOD sector,
4. Work a rotating roster inclusive of day, evening and weekend shifts.
5. Ability to facilitate groups.
6. Ability to work within a residential treatment service.
7. Understanding of harm minimisation strategies.
8. Unrestricted driving license

Remuneration:

• Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award.
• Salary packaging is available.
