AOD Community Service Worker – Gunyah Lilyfield NSW

Further information on our services can be found at - www.whos.com.au WHOS Gunyah is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person for a fulltime AOD Community Service Worker role in our Men’s Program, Gunyah, based at Lilyfield NSW.
The role involves:
a) assessment, referral, and education,
b) supervising and supporting clients in a residential setting,
c) delivering a structured daily program (which includes facilitating various processes and groups),
d) conducting therapeutic interventions
TO BE CONSIDERED APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO THE SELECTION CRITERIA BELOW
- Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or other related field.
- Ability to work a rotating roster - day, evening and weekend shifts as required.
- Experience in or knowledge of facilitating groups.
- Experience in or knowledge of residential treatment services.
- Experience in or knowledge of working with clients that have AOD and associated conditions.
- Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies.
- Full driver’s licence

Remuneration:
- Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award.
- Salary packaging is available.
