The AOD Case Worker position, based at Gunyah Lilyfield, will provide services to men with AOD and other co-occurring conditions, within a residential therapeutic community setting.

APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO THE SELECTION CRITERIA BELOW

Position Criteria:

  1. Qualification in AOD / Mental Health / Community Services or related field
  2. Experience working with men that have AOD use disorders and associated issues
  3. Knowledge of AOD treatment sector
  4. Understanding of the Therapeutic Community model
  5. Experience in group work
  6. Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies
  7. Current First Aid Certificate
  8. Current drivers’ licence
  9. Computer literacy, including the use of electronic client information systems
  10. Commitment to working as part of a team
  11. Ability to work a rotating roster that includes evening and weekend shifts

Being male is a genuine requirement for this position.

Remuneration:

  • Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 4
  • Salary packaging is available
