AOD Case Worker - Part Time
The AOD Case Worker position, based at Gunyah Lilyfield, will provide services to men with AOD and other co-occurring conditions, within a residential therapeutic community setting.
APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO THE SELECTION CRITERIA BELOW
Position Criteria:
- Qualification in AOD / Mental Health / Community Services or related field
- Experience working with men that have AOD use disorders and associated issues
- Knowledge of AOD treatment sector
- Understanding of the Therapeutic Community model
- Experience in group work
- Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current drivers’ licence
- Computer literacy, including the use of electronic client information systems
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- Ability to work a rotating roster that includes evening and weekend shifts
Being male is a genuine requirement for this position.
Remuneration:
- Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 4
- Salary packaging is available
