Our Out of Home Care (OOHC) team are looking for competent and experienced individuals to provide support and supervision to children and young people aged 0-18 years. The successful applicant will have a variety of life skills, mentoring skills and a good sense of humour.
The hourly rate for this position is $31.75 - $34.04 plus casual loading, with a 9.5% employer superannuation guarantee.
Applicants will be required to undertake personality and behavioural assessments and must obtain a Working with Children Clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW) or, and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment.
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.

Essential Criteria
You will have experience in an OOHC setting, working with children and young people, you understand what it take to work cooperatively in a team environment and have good report writing skills. Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and the issues impacting Aboriginal families is essential.
A diploma of Community Services or Cert IV Youth Work, Certificate IV in Child and Family Welfare or other relevant tertiary qualifications is required. A current drivers licence and first aid certificate (or willing to obtain) is essential.
