Part Time Position 

Are you an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman with Social Work, Welfare Work or Alcohol and other Drug/Mental Health worker qualifications? Do you have experience working  with clients experiencing drug and alcohol related harms and/or other complex needs?  

The case worker position is part of a team supporting complex needs clients whilst in our residential Therapeutic Community (TC) programs at Lilyfield! This position will also  contribute to cultural support for First Nations women as part of the role.  

WHOS® (We Help Ourselves) residential programs and services are based in NSW and QLD and  cater for individuals who are experiencing difficulties with drug and alcohol related harms.  

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated case worker to join WHOS’ multidisciplinary Access and Support team at our Lilyfield campus working with complex needs clients from the Western Sydney area and our First Nations women within 3 of our residential services.

Essential Criteria

  1. Qualifications in Social Work, Welfare Work or Alcohol and other Drug (AOD) /Mental Health or  related fields 
  2. Experience working with complex needs clients including mental health and drug related harms.
  3. Case management skills. 
  4. Knowledge and practical understanding of culture and inclusion concepts, frameworks, and  practices 
  5. Effective liaison, communication, and networking development skills 
  6. Competent in computer skills and documentation in client electronic files 
  7. Current drivers’ licence
  8. Up to date COVID vaccination status 

Other Information

Remuneration is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
