SSRI are releasing a series of articles on Defining Positive Outcomes. The first two articles are From Family Data to Neighborhood Outcomes and Getting More Than You Pay for with Pay-For-Success. The first observes that change can move “too slowly if we remain tied to a model of child welfare that manages one case at a time and defines positive outcomes only in terms of individual children”.  The second emphasises the benefits that greater collaboration can bring between the community and key community stakeholders when dealing with complex questions around issues such as homelessness and severe mental illness.
