Manager Burwood WDVCAS

The Role: We are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Manager to lead our Burwood WDVCAS team. This pivotal role reports directly to the CEO, Community Action for Better Living Inc. (CABL) and is an integral part of our leadership team. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee service delivery and ensure it aligns with our mission and values.
• Supervise and support a team of dedicated staff.
• Service delivery, staff supervision, budgeting, reporting and ensuring compliance with the funding agreement and related policy and procedure manuals.
• Navigate the complexities of and social and legal consequences of domestic and family violence (DFV), including legal matters such as ADVO applications, criminal prosecutions, family law, care and protection, migration and victim’s compensation.

Qualifications

Degree in Social Work or equivalent

Essential Criteria

• Proven experience and understanding of DFV dynamics, social and legal consequences and the criminal justice response.
• As a minimum a degree in social work or equivalent, with extensive relevant experience.
• Exceptional organisational, administrative, financial, management, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Successful candidates will be required to have or undergo a Working with Children Check and a National Police Records Check.

• Full-time position (38 hours per week) at level 7 of the SCHADS Award.
