Liquor and Gaming NSW is reviewing the process that helps control gaming machine numbers within venues and local areas and reduces harms linked to problem gambling. They are calling for submissions from community groups to provide input into the review.

Liquor and Gaming NSW has prepared a discussion paper which outlines the terms of reference, current regulations, and key issues for comment.

NCOSS will be contributing to the review as gaming machines are a significant cause of gambling problems which can adversely impact individuals and socially disadvantaged communities.

If you have any information that would be helpful to our submission, please email Ben Folino (Policy Officer) ben@ncoss.org.au
