CNSW works with all carers regardless of their age, location, life-stage or circumstances. This includes those caring for individuals with support needs relating to ageing, disability, health, drug and/or alcohol dependency, and mental illness. Our reach extends across NSW taking into account the changing and diverse carer needs in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote locations.
This role is part of the Education and Training Team and is responsible for developing and delivering education and training resources and ensuring the organisation meets its commitments as per the NSW Carers Action Plan and CNSW Strategic Direction.

Position details
Essential Selection Criteria:

In applying for this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • Relevant qualification minimum Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training or TAA04 Cert IV Training and Assessment or working toward same
  • Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of the principles of adult education and group work
  • Demonstrated experience in developing education content and resources for delivery across various mediums such as face to face, video link, webinars and e-learning technologies
  • Strong skills in development, facilitation, presentation and the evaluation of education and training programs
  • Experience in identifying training needs and analysing gaps
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong time management and task prioritising skills
  • High level written, oral communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel within NSW
  • Current NSW driver’s licence

The salary for this position is $83K-$87K package (based on SCHADS Award, Level 5, 38 hours, will be pro rata for 30 hours). This includes base salary and superannuation. You will also have access to attractive salary sacrificing benefits.
