About the Employer
Our Client is a charity registered with the ACNC providing day support, living skills and social programs for people who are aged and people with a disability across Sydney’s Inner West, inclusive of a younger onset dementia support program. With a current annual budget of $4.6 million and FTE staff of 50 team members supported by volunteers, The Ella is a registered provider of supports under the NDIS and receives funding from the Commonwealth & State Governments and support from philanthropic donations.
Established in 1975 as an outreach community program of St David’s Haberfield, The Ella Centre today is a partnership with St David’s and is an entity within the NSW Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia, working in collaboration with Uniting and other local providers.
About the Role
Our client is now seeking an experienced CEO with strong business acumen and previous experience in the disability and/or aged Care sectors. Equally as important are the values you will demonstrate. The Ella Centre values inclusion, integrity, innovation and accountability.
Reporting to a Board of Management of St David’s and community representatives, as CEO, you will be agile; providing strategic direction to The Ella Centre staff and volunteers; leadership both internally & externally; and drive effective step change in operations of The Ella Centre. You will also build relationships with key stakeholders including clients, carers, other providers, local councils, community representatives and government.
