Experienced Case Worker required - Permanent part time 4 days per week, flexible hours- Subject to ongoing funding.

Provide case management support working alongside individual clients providing assistance and guidance with the design and implementation of case plans. Supporting clients with tenancy facilitation and addressing homelessness with in a trauma informed culturally sensitive framework underpinned by best practices.

Position details

Minimum cert IV community services or relevant field.

Essential Selection Criteria:
  • A willingness to support and promote the values and ethos of Kingsway Community Care.
  • Flexibility with work hours.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key service providers.
  • Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and religions.
  • Sound understanding of child protection issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of children protection issue and HNSW products.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work effectively with crisis clients experiencing homelessness, mental health issues, domestic and family violence and or alcohol and other drug addictions.
  • Have a high level of confidence and ability to manage and respond in crisis and emergency situations.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent computer skills and proven ability to work with Microsoft products
  • High level of organisational ability.
  • Clear criminal history check and clear working with children’s check.
  • Current full drivers licence.
  • Current first aid
