The Role
 
As a member of the Administrative Team managed by a Team Leader, this is a very hands-on and demanding role. The scope of the role includes:
  • Welcoming and greeting visitors and clients from a variety of cultures, in person or by telephone;
  • Operate a busy telephone switchboard answering and/or referring inquiries;
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide administrative assistance including ad-hoc projects;
The successful applicant will be part of a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team.
 
Skills Required
 
You will be a highly motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, enthusiastic and energetic and with demonstrated experience working within a busy reception environment. You will be customer focused and have proven administrative and telephone skills as well as experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Type: Full time, 38 hours per week. Contract up to 1 year (continuation subject to ongoing funding)
Location: Carramar and STARTTS Sydney metropolitan offices
Salary: Administrative Officer Level 2 - $54,275 per annum plus Superannuation
 
A generous salary packaging scheme is also offered to reduce the taxable income and increase the take home pay.
