PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR (12 MONTH CONTRACT)
BEING IS LOOKING FOR A PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR
The successful applicant will manage a portfolio of projects, the first of which will be to establish the Consumer Awareness Protection Project, working closely with the NSW Department of Fair Trading and other key organisations to provide support and education to people with mental health issues so they can gain a better understanding of the NDIS system, increase awareness of Australian Consumer Law, as well as developing a suite of resources to support people to purchase services and enter into contracts and agreements.
The role will be responsible for the design and facilitation of community events, and will provide supervision to peer educators, volunteers and students involved in the projects. The role will also be responsible for the evaluation of projects, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators and funding grants, as well as seeking opportunities for further funding.
The position will be co-located in both our Sydney Offices and in Wollongong (Location TBA). The time spent in each of these locations will be dependent on the needs of each project.
This position is offered as a one-year contract, 38 hours per week spread over five days.
Closing date for this position will be 23rd March 2018 by 5:00 pm. This is an immediate start position and applications will be assessed as they are received.
