WayAhead Mental Health Association NSW  invites expressions of interest from people interested in taking on a  board director role. Currently there are  a number of positions to be filled on a 9 member board.   Board directors need to be committed to the vision of the organisation and to furthering the goals outlined in the 2020-23 Strategic Plan. Board directors serve a three year term.

People with lived experience of mental health issues are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Board directors need to be committed to the vision of the organisation and to furthering the goals outlined in the 2020-23 Strategic Plan. Previous board experience is an advantage but not essential. Particular skills in fundraising, risk management, strategic planning and good governance

People with lived experience of mental health issues are welcome to apply.

Desirable Criteria

In any of the following- Advocacy / Government Relations, Business Development / Social Enterprise, Fundraising, Impact Evaluation, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Marketing / Branding, Media / Communications / Public Relations, Research & Development / Innovation, Risk Management
