Opportunity to join We Help Ourselves (WHOS) as an Internal Centrelink Liaison Officer and Administration Assistant, Lilyfield, Sydney, Fulltime 12 month contract.

This role is responsible for liaising with Centrelink to ensure timely payment of client service fees, maintaining the client financial records, liaising with clients on all financial enquiries as well as administration duties across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all client enquiries, payments and data related to Centrelink
  • Financial duties include but are not limited to; petty cash, reimbursements, preparing of financial records for audits, banking, reporting and purchase orders
  • Admin responsibilities of database management, mailbox organisation and post office handling and ad hoc event admin duties

Essential criteria and success factors of the role:

  • Clean drivers licence and confident to drive in and around CBD
  • Team player attitude, happy to contribute as and where necessary
  • Sensitivity to issues of drug use and addiction
  • Excellent attention to detail and experience working with finances
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a challenging environment and adapt quickly when needed
  •  Take initiative but also open to receiving direction
