About the role

We’re seeking an experienced communications all-rounder to lead our marketing and communications activities.

As NSW’s leading provider of legal services, aged care advocacy, education and information to seniors in NSW, we undertake a broad range of marcomms work that helps us deliver important outcomes for the people and communities we serve.

This is a valuable opportunity to work in a senior role in a key community organisation and help shape our success with your strategic comms expertise.

You’ll be planning, managing and delivering our media engagement, marketing assets and digital comms as well as ensuring brand consistency across all our communications and engagement activities.

Essential Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in marketing and communications or extensive experience in a directly relevant role in the not-for-profit sector.
  2. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering quality communication strategies, content and outcomes.
  3. Demonstrated experience in effective media liaison and engagement.
  4. Excellent writing, editing and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate with influence, deliver outcomes and to write reports and briefings notes.
  5. Demonstrated experience in digital media strategy and knowledge of key digital communication platforms.
  6. Demonstrated strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills both internally and externally.
  7. Ability to work both in a team and independently including the ability to prioritise your own work and deliver results.
  8. Highly proficient with technology and software, including Microsoft Office 365
  9. Prepared to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History check and NSW driver’s license as a condition of employment.
