Grants

Grants are a great way to fund a new project or boost resources for a great initiative your organisation runs.

Below is a regularly updated list of grants available to community and social service organisations:

 

Aspire Community Grants Scheme

Aspire Support Services Ltd invites applications from community members within the region. Community Grants are available (subject to funds being available). 

Community members within the cities of Albury and Wodonga and the Corowa, Greater Hume, Indigo and Towong Shires are invited to apply.

City of Sydney affordable & diverse housing fund

The affordable and diverse housing fund aims to promote the development of affordable and diverse housing by community housing providers, not-for-profit and for-profit organisations in the City of Sydney's local area.

Google Ad Grants

Google Ad Grants is the nonprofit edition of AdWords, Google's online advertising tool. Google Ad Grants empowers nonprofit organisations, through $10,000 per month in in-kind AdWords™ advertising, to promote their missions and initiatives on Google search result pages.

Ian Potter Foundation grants

The Ian Potter Foundation makes grants across a broad range of sectors and endeavours. Its grants are managed through nine program areas: Arts, Community Wellbeing, Education, Environment & Conservation, Health & Disability, International Learning and Development, Medical Research, Science, Travel, and Conference. 

Impact Investment Ready Growth Grants

The Impact Investment Ready Growth Grant provides impact businesses and mission-driven organisations with grants of up to $100,000 for business, financial, legal and other capacity building support from providers to secure investment.

Law and Justice Foundation of NSW 50th Anniversary Grants program

To mark its 50 year anniversary, the Foundation has announced an Anniversary Grants Program that aims to support one or more projects (to a total value of $150,000) that contribute to achieving our mandate and reflect the Foundation’s rigorous approach to addressing the legal needs of the community by:

Myer Foundation Small Grants Program

This Small Grants Program supports strategies to benefit Australian communities. The aims are to:alleviate the negative effects of poverty and disadvantage; demonstrate new ideas about how to address poverty and disadvantage; and strengthen communities’ abilities to deal with poverty and disadvantage.

National Disability Conference Initiative 2017-18

The Australian Government is inviting organisations to apply via an open process to deliver services under the Disability Mental Health and Carers Program – Disability and Carer Support – National Disability Conference Initiative (NDCI) 2017-18.  Total funding of $315,000 is available for the NDCI for conferences held between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2018.  Within this funding, up to $10,000 is available for each conference.

Westpac Social Scale-Up Grants

Social Scale-up is designed to help scale-up not-for-profit social enterprises that are creating jobs and employment pathways for individuals who often face significant barriers to entering the mainstream job market or are excluded from the workforce. More details
