Productivity Commission: Contribution of the Not for Profit Sector PDF Print E-mail

On 17 March 2009, the Productivity Commission received a terms of reference from the Government asking it to undertake a commissioned study on the contributions of the not for profit sector.

The Commission's draft report was released for comment in October and NCOSS convened a consultation between the sector and Commissioner Dennis Trewin in November 2009. 

Productivity Commission’s final report on the contribution of the not-for profit sector was released on 11 February 2010.

UPDATE
ACOSS has prepared an analysis of the Productivity Commission’s study into the contribution of the not-for-profit sector. The analysis includes ACOSS priorities for advocacy and an invitation for feedback and input on further work on the sector reform agenda. The analysis is available on the on the Sector Development page of the ACOSS website.
