The Council of Social Service of NSW (NCOSS) was founded in 1935 to promote cooperation in the provision of community services and to influence social legislation. Three quarters of a century later NCOSS continues to provide an independent voice on social and economic policy issues and is the major coordinator for non-government social and community services in NSW. Our vision is for a society where there is social and economic equity, based on co-operation, participation, sustainability and respect. In this, our 75th year, we wll be reflecting on our history, learning from the past and considering what the future might hold. This section of our website has been set-up to contain all elements of our 75th Anniversary celebrations - from our conference plans to historical articles and memorabilia.
