The national, state and territory Councils of Social Service have prepared a fact sheet on the award modernisation process for the social and community service sector.
The purpose of the fact sheet is to update the sector on the process of the modern award. Key issues include who will be affected by the modern award; timeframes; and how the modern award sits with the pay equity test case announced recently. The fact sheet will be updated in light of industrial developments in the sector.
