All NCOSS Policy staff were present at NSW Parliament House for the handing down of the State Budget today. Director Alison Peters and Deputy-Director, Policy and Communications, Samantha Edmonds were present at the pre-Budget lock up for business groups, giving them the opportunity to preview the content of this year's Budget and the Government's media releases.

As Treasurer Michael Costa handed down the Budget both Alison and Samantha joined other NCOSS policy staff on floor 8 of Parliament House to listen to the Treasurer's speech, and sift through and analyse the details of the Budget Papers .

Returning to NCOSS later that day, the policy staff continued to break down the costings in between attending specific departmental briefings for the human services community sector.
