FONGA farewells Faye Williams PDF Print E-mail

Faye WilliamsAfter many years working in the community sector, Faye Williams has decide to call it a day. She will be retiring from her current position as Executive Officer for Inner Sydney Regional Council for Social Development from July 2008.

Faye has also worked at the Botany Neighbourhood Centre and the Local Community Services Association (LCSA).

In recognition of her hard work and contribution to the sector she was given an appropriate send off at today's FONGA (Forum of Non-Government Agencies) meeting held at NCOSS.

NCOSS Director Alison Peters spoke of Faye's achievements, adding that she would be greatly missed and wishing her all the best for her future retirement. Alison then presented Faye with flowers and other gifts of appreciation.  The 40 or so FONGA members in attendance wished her well and burst into applause.

Everyone at NCOSS wishes Faye Well on her retirement and look forward to reading the book she plans to write!
