About NCOSS Community Cover

NCOSS Community Cover is a bulk-buying insurance program brokered through Aon Risk Services with special features for not-for-profit and human services organisations.

Insurances offered through NCOSS Community Cover include:

• Public Liability - protects your organisation from claims by members of the public for personal injury or property damage due to your negligence
• Association Protector - protects your organisation and its management from directors and officers and professional indemnity claims
• Property insurances - protects your assests (includes fire and other perils, burglary, money, glass, general property and business interruption)
• Personal Accident Volunteers - compensates your volunteers if they are accidentally injured while helping you
• Comprehensive and non-owned motor vehicle - covers vehicles owned by your group as well as workers and volunteers vehicles

NCOSS Community Cover offers a single proposal form from which you can select the insurance or combination of insurances that is right for your organisation's needs.

• No age limits on personal accident insurances for volunteers
• Volunteers automatically protected from being sued by third parties under public liability policy
• Cover for staff using their personal vehicles while working (under 'non-owned' motor vehicle policy)
• Automatic cover for employment practices liability and fidelity under the association protector policy as well as optional extensions available for medical malpractice
