NCOSS Submission: The NSW Department of Human Services recently released a draft Procurement Policy Framework for comment. NCOSS has long called for an improved policy and process for funding NGOs. In the NCOSS State Election Platform, Vote 1 Fairness in NSW , a key measure being advocated for is a sensible and whole of NSW Government Funding Policy developed through consultation, discussion and negotiation between Government and the sector. NCOSS has used the opportunity to comment on the DHS draft Procurement Policy Framework to further our advocacy for a better funding policy for the sector.
