As part of our 75th anniversary celebrations thoughout 2010 NCOSS ran a series of monthly articles looking back at the history of the organisation and the developments within society, community and government which had an impact on the development of the Council.

NCOSS believes a fairer society is a better society for us all. It is, therefore, in everyone's interests to care about what happens to the most vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalised in our communities. Using our 2011 Election document – Vote 1 Fairness in NSW – as a platform for discussion, this conference investigated themes of equity and respect, of cooperation and integration, of sustainability and of accreditation.

Over the past 75 years many hundreds of people have been involved in the operation of the Council of Social Service of NSW (NCOSS). This list will include staff and Board/Executive Committee members starting from the earlier years and will be based on details included in Annual Reports and newsletters.
