NCOSS Submission: IPART Review of prices for Sydney Water Corporation’s water, sewerage, stormwater and other services from 1 July 2012. NCOSS urges the Tribunal to remember that water is an essential service necessary for the health and wellbeing of people in the Sydney Water area, particularly those in low income households.
NCOSS Submission: NCOSS supports the proposed Energy Customer Hardship Regulatory Amendments as they will require all retailers to introduce a hardship charter. This is not a significant change as most retailers already have such charters in NSW. However, NCOSS would prefer to see stronger regulation regarding customer hardship charters.
NCOSS Submission: In making this submission, NCOSS urges the Tribunal to remember that electricity is an essential service necessary for the health and wellbeing of people in NSW.
NCOSS submission: Assesses the elements proposed in the consultation draft of the Department of Water and Energy Customer Assistance Policy by considering whether the proposed measure is appropriately targeted to households in financial difficulty and addresses any of the issues relating to energy disconnection.
